Real Madrid doesn't want the Santiago Bernabeu to be home of the Copa del Rey final.

Real Madrid told the spanish federation of football 2 years ago that they didn't want the Santiago Bernabeu to host any more finals.

Even though the two finalists, Athletic Club and FCBarcelona agree to have the match at the Santiago Bernabeu Real Madrid officials refuse to let this happen.
They say that it isn't because of the two teams that are playing in the final, they say that they don't want any finals to be disputed, not from the Copa del Rey or any official competitions from UEFA.
